Yes research plan will make it much easier to write research paper as first you must search for the notes means important topics of your research and then study the key points you can pick it from net and then after a brief studies make your research paper in your own words not copy past from net ..(also do the field work like visiting the market according to your research requirements) Hope that's the answer of your question

follow inverted triangle method

start from a broad topic and go to a specific topic in it. for example pesticides is a broad topic. pesticides in brest milk is a narrow topic and the pesticide (DDT) in brest milk is a very specific topic

now do a literature search. this will help you to know what has been done on pesticide DDT in brest milk. what is missing in the studies. what are the problems yet to be understood. what are the exisiting methodologies used etc

now you know what to be done. for that you make a new plan. your strategy to solve the problem, which no one has addressed. write the expected results also

since your research is innovtive, it will be easy to publish. since you already gone through the literature search and you have the new methodology and expected results, you are in a position to write the paper after the experiment and analysis of the aquired data
