Yes, All good employers and their associates support internship programmes within organisation. Let us see the advantages.

The advantages of having a successful internship programme

The advantages of having a successful internship programme are dual. They help a job seeker gets the taste of work atmosphere and benefits to the employer are better candidates, development of staff and introduction of new perspectives.

The youth of the country must get opportunities for hands on training on jobs so that they remain occupied and see a ray of hope in this wild jungle of unemployment. Each country has their statistics of employment and you would wonder in most of the places employment of youth is given due importance so that future skills are developed for the expanding economy.

The engagement for an internship programme also adds and makes intern’s cv interesting and shows his interntion, particularly sincerity to learn job skills and intention to master those skills.

It is always experience that interns engaged in regular jobs post internship always meet with success and they generally turn out to be better works and go for long association, depending upon the future growth.

The organisation can always change the criterion to try candidates who may be comparable to existing lot but slightly different, giving full justice to choice and bringing in some fusion of skills.

When the employer is experimenting with this kind of recruitment process, he has to take slight risk because he is trying new material. If the idea clicks the returns are good to employer and also a new experience. In case the new hire fails, its not that difficult to ease him out as the continuity of  engagement as an apprentice is only for a specific period say one year.

The employer has two options to engage paid or unpaid apprentice and paid internships always bring good talented candidates and the industry concern gets their future hires.

The interns bring new perspective to an organisation and are generally vibrant with ideas so always a good supervisor would allow them to florish those ideas though initially they may appear to be not practical but later on they may improvise further to make an edge on productivity. Therefore it is essentially important that interns should be involved in brain storming sessions and be given independent projects and those working on such projects often meet with success.

The employment laws also generally have provisions to engage an apprentice and offer him better opportunity to upgrade skills with live work atmosphere.
