Computer Understands and accomplish Orders in the binary language..Programming languages are the Sentences(Codes) which Being Compiled -Using any Compiler(Software) like NetBeans, byte code, Eclipse..etc- and transformed into the Binary language to the computer to understand the Sentences(Code) and accomplish them..Java Programming language is one of a lot of Programming languages

I think Java's strong point is that it's multiplatform. when the code is compiled we get a "byte code". it is this "byte code" that will be executed by any machine having the "JVM".

Unlike most other languages (except the .Net platform), Java offers the developer a very rich API allowing him to do many things. In addition there is a lot of third-party APIs of very good quality, for features that would be missed in the JDK.
