How do you design the activities to maximize their effectiveness?
Group Discussions. The basic quality of team members is the ability to understands one another. Group discussions will reveal the opinions and attitude of people and hence it will help the members to understand and evaluate the potential of their team. This will result a better performance by the entire team.
Mutual respect and cooperation among employees and eliminate any negative spirit and eliminate any problems immediately and non-discrimination between employees
The team must be cooperative and know that the effort is calculated for the team as a whole and that one team member does not rest at the expense of another. There is a team spirit based on cooperation, love, self-denial and mutual effort.
Is good to go for group open discussion, where you spend time to know what are your team interest, and in the work am doing there an activity I would like to share, they do it once in a month, watching a new movie, it has to be for the whole team regardless of the position, in the suitable hall in the work place, I can recomend to have it after work of the last day of the week, and also you can organize one day from the weekend to play soccer, friendly game, once in a while.
I listen to the team and align the willingness with the work, I observe at micro levels and step by step drive them to the business requirement. I have seen the positive effects coming over a time.
