A manager is not an island. His duty is to derive the best of performance from the peopl he/she manages, for the -social, economical and environmental- benefit of the superiors he works for. Atitudes belong in the core of raw materials that the manager must handle. And not only they must understand such attitudes; managers m¡need to make them fit together and work in tight block. If a manager does not understand the attitude of his employees, subordinates and superiors he or she may at the most be some aspiring manager, but they may not be good managers at all.
