When is it better to recruit employees externally, and when is it better to recruit them internally?

Recruiting people internally means they have a background about the company and its work, but recruiting externally can bring fresh blood and new ideas to the team. When is it suitable to do either?

Recruiting internally specially the qualified persons getting his/her idea the current status what adjustment & solutions base on current available resources. In this way the cost of recruiting & try to gamble to experiment a new procedure is more time consuming rather than giving a chance to qualified internal staff to be promoted.Giving the chance for staff development & challenges will give others to work better will lead for staff satisfaction. When ever there is staff satisfaction company is in better progress.

it is better to recruit staff externally when you need experts in new field within the company and internally when you want to replace the retired staff

My opinion is both options are good externally and internally.

I think it is good to do both recruiting at the begining of a task and have a good team work going on,in the projects.Learning does not end and will benefit the company.

The pros of internal recruiting:Costs less than external recruiting. Creates better employee relationships. Increases employee loyalty and productivity. Takes less time to onboard because candidates are already familiar with the company culture and brand.

There are terms in which we people decide on moving to other company. And also those terms are the samr thing we need to consider upon acquiring such talent that can build and help the company in the future. When the company is working on a project that is similar to previous projects or in the same field of speciallity. it should recruit members internally so they have similar experiences. This will improve the quality, cost and time efficiency.

The company should recruit fresh blood when it wants to enter a new market or taking a new project that has a new field of knowledge. that will help to expand the company's market share and will help it to take more projects in parallel.

Recruiting employees externally when the reuired pool of skills are not limited to the employees in the company or when there is a increased number of requirement of the same and it cannot be met with mere training and new strategies.

Recruiting internally when, Employees have been spotted with the required skills along with a smart record of profile within the company and also who do not require extra on the job and off the job trainings

If employer is entirely utilizing the potentials of employees and is satisfied with performance of internal staff and there is complete harmony due to which institution is growing steadily,then i think there is no need to test a fresh blood from outside.
