Would you align simply through an electronic based informing system?? Would you inform each individual separately in a verbal manner?? Or would you conduct both methods in order to ensure a well made alignment between team members??
the first thing that must be done is determining if the communication channells are open freely,and how are they working.
think of communication in terms of vertical,horizontal,and sideways communication.
improve communication channells and decide on the best accepted method by all team members.
ask them and you will know what they preferre.

large team needs a good manager to manage the team ,
for big range of products and duties , you should made contact point for each section . different department and one person most be an each team coach , and the coach should give team leader report .

There is two way to communicate among employee, in a short period of time either Electronic Mail or Popup Message which is used as for Internal Memo purpose.
Simple regular news could be circulated electronically, while critical news are better communicated verbally, could be through team meetings.
