In hydroponics farming everything is given to the plant in required quantities and under perfect conditions. There is no dependence on irrigation facilities, no drought periods, no nutrient deficiencies, etc. Therefore, when there is a continuous supply of required elements, the growth is regular during different plant stages and maturity is attained faster. An extra feature with hydroponic systems is that plants grow bigger than normal due to an abundance of nutrients. Traditional soil farming method is a long process of soil preparation, planting, irrigating the plants, supplying manure and fertilizers, etc. that too under unpredictable availability of proper atmospheric conditions. Soil farming is comparatively slower than hydroponic farming and it is estimated that plants grow 30-50% faster with hydroponics.

Quite interesting information, thank you!

Dear,

it will be dominate sector of agriculture in near future...this method includes:

1. hydroponic crops use around 90% less water than the same crops grown in soil farming;

2.you can plot 3-4 times the amount of crops plants in the same space as soil farming;

3.growing in perfectly balanced pH, nutrient solution and highly oxigenated water direct to roots;

4. growing time x 2

5. no herbicide and pesticide

Yes Hydroponics Plants Grow Faster because the Hydroponics cultivation give the plant all they needs from fertigation and minerals with very specific doze of PH & EC level which will be soluble for the plant through micro roots , that is why there is no stress for the plant to enjoy there food with no suffering that is why it will grow fast and give leaves or fruit very fast from soil cultivation plus no miss use of water irrigation and no loose for fertilizer which mean less cost for cultivation

Hydroponics ,as said everything is under contorlled condition. Plants are not exposed to the sun and roots are not stressed for the nutirients as well as no soil borne disease or pest to fignt against. Everything given to the plants is well calculated, optimized. Plants grow faster,compared to soil stress grown, also due to more crop per cubic feet and sq feet area the cost of productoin is also reduced. Whereas in soil you plant limited no of plants per sq feet not in Cubic feet.

The Reason why growth in Hydroponic farming technique is faster because it allows the roots to be exposed directly to a rich nutrition sulution which reduces the plant energy and time wasting in looking for new sources. Also in the hydroponic farming all environmental conditions are under control such as temperature, meneral. Spacin which reduce competition between plants, as well all nigative factors that may effect the growth such as weeds , deseases are eleminated. Above that Hydrophobic farming increases productivity per area unit due to ability to grow vertically like multistorey farms...

yes hydroponics farming is faster because it is well controlled sutible conditions for plats growing cotrolled humidity controlled temperature cotrolled  watering

Yes plants grow faster in hydroponics because they get nutrients in readily available forms

Because hydroponics farming is always done under IDEAL conditions and with appropriate fertilizer and nutrient quantities. This is the reason that plant grow more faster in hydroponics than conventional one.
