Hello, community! I'm currently living in the UAE, Dubai for over the last3 years. I bought a Toyota Corolla back then and now I would like to sell it. I have discovered many many websites out there but not sure which one is the best one to sell my car. Additionally, I thinking of buying an SUV. Something reliable, with low running costs and good resale value.
Hello John, this is indeed a very good question. I've been living in Dubai for a while and I usually opt for YallaMotor and Dubizzle. I believe using both you will get enough contacts to sell your car. However, it might take a bit of time, which if you are not in a hurry it's ok. If you are in a hurry, go and check other services like Sell Any Car. The issue with this sort of services is that will pay you at least 30% to 40% less of the car market value. Personally, I believe it is better to go try to sell it yourself and if you can't do it, then you try them. In all cases, a used Toyota Corolla it is an easy sell since it is a very popular car.
If you are looking for a New SUV I suggest you stay with Toyota, maybe the RAV4. Or else, try any of the other Japanese ones. For example Nissan or Mitsubishi. While reliability might not be the strength, why don't you at least do a bit of research on the Chinese ones? I was actually impressed with their quality now. Specially Haval and MG. They are cheaper and they come with a tremendous stack of useful features!
YallaMotor people also do New Cars. You might want to check their website since they have very good information about new cars. Here is the link https://uae.yallamotor.com/new-cars/toyota/rav4 In addition, you can compare it with some of the RAV 4 competitors. For example the X-Trail: https://uae.yallamotor.com/new-cars/compare/toyota-rav4-2019-2-5l-2wd-ex-13177-vs-s-2wd-5-seater-11538-vs-
Hope my answer helped and all the best!
https://ae.opensooq.com/en i think it's the best website to deal with when you want to buy or sell your car ,and that's related to my previous experience in GCC countries market..good luck.
Dear Mr.John Addington.
I believe that the best way to reach people is by social media,
you can try put a post at one of facebook groups that target specific audiance who are interested in buying cars
Hi John,
I never lived in Dubai but I am in gulf region, I think the most effective website or applications is OLX, YallaMotor and Dubizzle, you put your add there and sell your car and from the same apps you can find the SUV you are looking for and there’s some people who like to make exchange with you if they are interested.
Good luck
contact car and if you have any friends you can offer to him/her your car and you can offer your in modern ture value in 28km alex road behind dandy mall you can give them your car and they can sell your car
Howdy! By providing a detailed vehicle history report that includes important details such as reported accidents, structural damage, and mileage discrepancies, Carfax's online service makes it possible to avoid major problems when purchasing a used vehicle. Getting a report on this service is quite simple, and rarely does anyone have difficulties with this, and if something goes wrong, then just contact carfax let them know about it, and they will help correct this unpleasant situation.
Hello John, it is great connecting with you on this specific topic. I run YallaMotor.com which is the largest automotive website in the UAE. I suggest you try our Used Car Section which has more than 17,000 up to date and in market cars on sale. In addition, while others might charge you an arm and a leg for posting your car, at YallaMotor we understand this service needs to be for free. There will be always a buyer for a seller and we just want everyone to have access to the largest choice in the country. I look forward to seeing your Toyota Corolla listed with us!
Answering your second question, I also suggest you visit our new car section. You will also find up to date New Cars information. If you are looking to upgrade to a reliable SUV I suggest you make a move with the Japanese ones. However, you might also want to do a bit more research and see what other brands are offering. I know that other brands are offering guaranteed buyback which will give you peace of mind. The UAE has a total of 288-ish SUVs on sale. Here is the complete list for you to check them: https://uae.yallamotor.com/new-cars/search/bs_suv
All the best!
