UTP cable is a 100-ohm copper cable that consists of 2 to 1800 unshielded twisted pairs surrounded by an outer jacket. These twists help in improving immunity to EMI and noises. They have no metallic shield. This makes the cable small in diameter but unprotected against electrical interference.

patch cable is an electrical or optical cable used to connect one electronic or optical device to another for signal routing.

The stranded cables consist of multiple strands of wires wrapped around each other in a conductor.

Solid cables have only one solid copper wire per conductor. They are mainly used for permanent linking.
