How do you stand out in an application for UAE jobs in Information Technology?

I want to see more visual portfolios. I like to see an application that has a personalized element to it. Especially in Tech, Design and Management fields. I’ve always been drawn to people who can present a clean, exciting and personally branded web site or online portfolio. Include this link in every application.

Have a personal statement, include pictures of your accomplishments, articles, blogs, press releases, etc.

They are pretty much mandatory if you want to apply to design or tech jobs. They are an especially important tool for new graduates. Use an online or visual portfolio to feature your style and point of view. I think even if you are not applying to tech jobs, create a visual portfolio for your CV. It gives you an edge and does a lot to reveal your personality and attention to detail.
