I would like to say that if you are keen on working as a journalist, be sure that your decision is not a state of a whim. To become a great journalist you need to be sure that journalism is the best for you.
Can you fit in this sector? Are you curious enough to dig in and investigate? Are you open minded? Do you accept other cultures and civilisations? If so, then you are good for the position.
When applying for news job in gulf, you must read a lot and be aware of what’s going on around the world in which this will make you a better writer.
Don't forget to send a copy of an article you have written to prove your writing skills.
One thing to remember: while working in journalism,you should be objective and not subjective. Don’t state your thoughts and feelings as the only reality. Guard your good reputation, honesty and credibility. People won't listen to a lier journalist.
