Yes, it plays an important role when you're working in sales sector. It's really beneficial for all three sides that is you, your company and your buyer. When you have a good and effective Technical knowledge of your product that you're selling in market it helps you to clarify nicely all small little things that are necessary for any particular buyer. It can definitely lead to a good production and give customer a good satisfaction.

First and foremost, you need to understand that your prospects (potential clients) get approached by other Sales professionals (competitors) & they might be, way more convincing than you are!

Knowing what you’re talking about, has to do with your prospect ‘trusting you’; without trust there is no business.
