I believe that nowadays marketing should be a calculated blend of online and offline. Moreover, when we say "Online Marketing" the term is too vast in my opinion.
The best strategy would be identifying the potential targeted audience, and then tailoring marketing strategy so that it blends both Online and Offline. But, I do think that online marketing, especially given how fast it grows, and emergence of new platforms and ways to market online is taking a leap forward. Therefore, the new strategy would be not choosing whether to go online or offline, but what streams and platforms for online marketing would be best suitable for any given company/product,
