healthy distance and easy approachability maintains the sanctity of teacher-student relation.so instead of being a friend teachers should behave like guiding star for the pupils
why not!! but without losing their respect
Teacher is a mediator, fascinator, instructor and a close friend of the students. Teacher should be close to the students and solve the student’s problems also friendly.
I think it could be good or bad depending on the relationship established. If the relationship is helpful for the educational progress of the students then it is good. If the relationship is too close and objectionable then it is bad. The teacher should keep a reasonable distance even when he/she is close friend to his/her students.
The teacher/student relationship is one where the power is unequal. It's hard to translate that into a friendship. But, I do have friends now who were my teachers when I was a student, but we're more like acquaintences.
As long as the relation is well defined and status is recognized, I think there is nothing wrong.
better answer is1 option, but you make distance, if student need true you can solve the proble, if student need is not write, you can denay. but student complene about you to the principle. he is not good, his activities is bad. than that is problem. but all teacher to be not good, some teacher to be bad charactor, how you define. only his attitute and his behaviour and believe.
thanking you
Very closed is bad, just close and firndly is OK, but I always keep a necessary distance
There are issues ethics and being in a position of power that complicate this.
I think the relation would make the student more interested about the teacher subject it is more likely that the student will pay attention and being confidence to interact contribute trough the lesson.
it depends on the teacher;s nature. every aspect of teaching shuold be only for learners better recruitment ither it is closness or some thing else.
