Either replace the battery or replace the laptop's power unite, try out another battery and if it behaved the same replace the power unite.
Hi, good question poste, I would be glad to answer this, The issue can be resolved by reseating the battery from the laptop, Remove the battery by following the instructions manual from the laptop manufaturer, Press and hold the power button for10 seconds, Place the battery inside and connect the adaptor, Then try to power it on and check if it battery indicator works, Another root cause could be a bad adaptor, try to connect same charger to another similar laptop, or connect another adaptor to this computer. Or it may be a faulty battery,
1. Check the power adapter and also power jack on laptop using multimeter
2. If both are working fine then battery life has ended. Try to calibrate the battery
The laptop's power adapter and/or the charger are broken, let a technician check them
replace the battery....
go to start->control panel->Device Manager -> Bateries -> uninstall power AC adapter then restartin case you dont have a battery problem this should fix it. Otherwise you should replace your battery.

Dead battery, the charger is just fine...
Its better to take it to market check another battery & charger as well. If both have no problem then problem is in your charging base or Mother board.
