this is an issue of integrity. As an auditor, we stand by the rules. so complete the report of corruption as per complete documents, findings etc and submit the audit report to the upper Management with your recommendation. It's up to the Management to decide what to do with the employee for final conclusion.
false
to conserve company's reputation you have to follow the case.
True..The auditor during audit find a case of corruption that he reported to his manager. His manager realized his efforts and promoted him and assigned another assignment. Thats fine and normal... regarding the corruption file the manager needs to consider alot of things before making any decision. It depends on situation and circumstances what to decide. and usually this sort of decision is not taken individually. The audit committee must have decided to close the case for the sake of reputation and trust of investors. But on the other side must have implemented some action against the personnel involved in the case. like terminating thier contract. and implementing some controls against that corruption.
False, covering such actions will destroy the company in the near future.
I agree with Joefil c. Jocson, Suleman Anjum, Abdel Halim Mohamad Mohamad and Mohammad Naeem Ahmad

Hello Yousuf,
your answer is clasical examle how to cover own made problems to the company. I have get through the anti corruption course and this was one of many cases which is very dishonest to themselves, the company and the customers. How could it be that auditor reported some kind of dismanaging, corruption and other illegal actions, told it to the manager who is responsible for the firm and after it awaiting what will be with his/her statement!
They both are not trustworthy. The access of the manager and the auditor are very unsound and dishonest.
The auditor had to report it to the owner of the firm and the manager couldnt offer promotion to the auditor only because he or her found something.
With best regards,
Mike H.
