Multinational is better if you wanted to have an international career.

A firm doesn’t matter, if we know very well about our JD and how we had implemented the same.

Hello Muhammad,

If you are patriot and want to support your own country the decession is very easy.

If you count the Earth dimensional issue the other way is much more suitable for you.

I dont mind to support the local company which has own face and neednt to be hiden behind annonymous shares.

Have a fine day.

i think the most important thing is to do what you like,in an organization you like to get the outcome you like.

multinational or local, ask yourself which company supports your own goals and llife mission you've set for yourself.

general comparisons never work, you must get specific.

Both have their own pros and cons, I have seen and learnt that in MNC one have diversity, growth and might be international learning exposure which rapid the professional. On the other side, national oriented organizations have their own style as they follow the regional requirement, some time in opposite to MNCs they offered generalized role where in MNC they have specialized role (occasionally). I met some professional who reports being in MNC their much of the policies and planning is being done by headquarter and they have little chance to change it and they have to implement it as per direction. Well in local firm they are free to do planning and marketing efforts to generate business and profits

In my opinion, I will always prefer to work in multinational company. In the multinational company, there are wider scopes to work with different kind of people with different culture and ethics / views. The scopes of learning opportunities are also multidimensional.

In my opinion, I feel a multinational company would provide you with a diverse work environment and will also allow for a better learning experience. Hence, I feel working for a multinational firm is a better option. As for a large local company, in most cases, you will experience a sense of repetition and monotony at some point.

I think you mean financial benefits. With larger companies you experience different processes and I see that as being part of the benefits.

I think working with Larger local groups has immense advantage in terms of empowerment, professional gain, career enhancement. Today Local groups offer working in multi cultured environment and are multi regional. In MNC's more often, policies are driven by the corporate which may not suit the local requirements and always pose a challenge to employees. Eventhough they are multi dimensional, it has become more detrimental to employee enthusiam due to time zone differences and demand for devoting more than required work hours. This could be a reason why local groups have high employee loyalty and low attrition rates!

I have worked in both companies in my career i guess if you need more benefits, team outings, its better at Multinational as they follow same trend eveywhere but in local group its purely based on idea of management company decides facilities and benefits to emoloyee and approach sometimes is based upon geography , location , region and culture.
