he may have less qualification or technical skills, but he could be good at managing, don't bother about his qualifications, the most important thing is to work smoothly with him, and get the job done

It will not effect the employee career, after getting the experience you/employee will get the good job.  Do not make your mind bad about your supervisor.

this is aquestion that has been circulating for quiet sometime now.

i would like to answering this question by asking aquestion.

"how and who decided that this manager is not qualified"

if he was employed by your superiors who think he is qualified, they employed you as a team member to carry on your post and work and he should carry his.

I guess Muhammad if company has promoted / chosen some one has Manager he or she should be respected ofr this post no matter how other feel about him/her . I am sure with his experience he will surely be capable enough to manage , sometimes people who are qualified from premium institutions are hired for high posts and people who has same experience and qualification works with them as sub ordinates but I think everyones goal should be well being and progress of company because its management job to decide who has to be given what post and if someone below is capable will get promoted soon if there is inferiority complex better finding a new job is solution otherwise it adds on to dissappointment

I agree with you, but this could be a window of opportunity.

Well in my opinion professional life is totally different from what we learnt through qualifications. Qualification basically open our mind and enhance our knowledge base. While a person with experience will have the same level of knowledge which he practically gains from the understanding of the system and something that we practically get is usually more practicable.

Sir, I have asked  for the impact upon employees working under the supervision of less qualified and inexperienced boss. while you are asking for the criteria set for the judgement of less qualified and inexprienced boss. Practically, it happens frequently due to influence of the VIPs and you know this better. Please answer the question in its context.

I agree, dont focus on the what  and why's. Bottom line is for all personnel to remain professional in their capacity, meaning respect your manager's position and support your manager. Your only job,no matter what,is to keep your leader happy. At the end of the day your leader dictates your future so ensure that he is over satisfied with your work and attitude. Happy leader means happy worker. He obviously impressed his leader(s) otherwise he would not have gotten his promotion. So rather than to question his abilities, learn from him and start working on impressing your new leader.
