Blogging gives you credibility and experience on a topic. Do you agree?

If you ever doubted the fact that blogging gives you credibility and expertise on a topic, go ahead and erase that from your mind right now. If I didn't write a blog post about that topic, I would have never been asked to give my insights or even looked at as someone who could speak on the topic. Blogging gives you credibility and authority in your industry. Period. Score1 for blogging! Do you agree?

i believe blogging is a learning medium where you share your views and ideas and get feedback and answers for questions you post and have.

i don't really see how it gives you credibility and experience, but i believe it is a learning experience for those who are willing to learn,as for credibility i don't think it can be measured or decided upon while blogging. just think that a lot of answers we get are either copied from google or other search engines or just simply yes or know.

i don't see how we can  measure credibility,if the other bloggers where subject experienced they can then decide credibility.

Blogging gives you credibility and experience on a topic --- Are you out of your mind ? Are you kidding me ?

It is this half baked knowledge that majority of online blogs are crap.

If you haven't got the experience or expertise on a topic, you shouldn't blog about it. PERIOD.

Having said that, I also recognise the fact that blogging about a topic, in which you are an expert, opens you to questions from many people which may lead to new learning experiance or brushing up on old text books. But you cannot gain experaince on a topic by just blogging. It does gives you visibility and increases your credibility to a certain level.

Blog answers the demand of viewers. if this rule is satisfied then the Blog rewards are : Knowledge - Experience - Wisdom and Later Credibility but credibility is also intangible as other are.

In fact, it is the other way round. If you have experience then blogging gives you an opportunity to enhance your credibility and reach out to incredibly large base of online users.
