I dont agree that all leaders are great managers and agree that not all managers are great leaders. This is because that each profession requires its own set of skills. I see that there are examples of great leaders who were not great managers. I don't see that personal exmaples will help the discussion because every one will rightfully has his personal views.

I absolutely agree with the leaders are great managers because they put their hands to your hand to achieve common goals whereas managers give orders and attribute the success to themselves.

A leader is a person with or without authority but who can lead and get people to follow...

Thus leaders would be good at managing PEOPLE and also leaders would be good people managers.

I agree, because leaders lead all side with their motivation power & personality, but manager is a a specific role player only.

I do not agree. They are two different persons with different characters and they are two different tasks. Can not be compared, they ca only learn from each other.

Yes, I agree. leaders make the employees want to achieve the maximum which means in the long term acheiving or exceeding the results. Managers manage the employees to achieve the results.
