What is the difference between Quality Assurance and Quality Control for electrical engineers?

QA is a set of activities for ensuring quality in the processes by which products are developed.

QC is a set of activities for ensuring quality in products. The activities focus on identifying defects in the actual products produced.

The quality assurance have a guarentee1year to5 years but quality control is quality development

Quality Assurance is establishing system to ensure things should go right and providing confidence that it is in practice and consistent......from beginning of a value stream to the end.

This ensures quality of products happens due to the system and processes and assurance of this is made through Process checks, Sampling checks, etc.

Control is ensuring that things are going right, when work is being done....Either through online monitoring, Statistical process control, Measurement, etc.

Quality assurance is about to minimize the chance of fault occurance is a system by rechecking the whole process through simulation and verification techniques. Whereas QC is about the specific individual part of system or product quality. Checking its behavior individually.
