many courses, many books and many advises for being a successful leader .if you have really the skills and the way that makes you a leader, can you share them with us?
As with any other talent, for some people it comes easy with birth by starting to have followers of their own and a leadership style as children. For those few growing up makes the leadership game a more really easy task and become talented leaders and Carizma holders.
For others, we need to work on the needed competencies and the personality defaults to master one of the leadership styles that works best with each distinctive personality. But for the hard working and welling, I believe, it can be taught.
I believe that leaders are borne. To be a successful leader you have to have an influencing size of followers who say that you are.
There is no thumb rule that one becomes a leader if he /she possess such quality or its gd gifted Abraham Lincoln President of USA failed many times in Election also had nervous breakdown but he kept trying because he failed he dint think he dont have leadership qualities.
So, over the time you develop them as you watch , you hear, you observe and you sense.
A leader should have confidence to lead people from front, take responsibilities for failures and success. Should be able to earn respect and motivate people to do better.Should be able to end conflicts and give a solution in case of road block. These are the ways a Leader become successful one.
Regarding the first part of your question: i believe that in business there is no (gifted) adjective. it has to be replaced with (skilled) people.
Regarding the second part: i would like to draw your attention to the (Multiple intelligences theory) & (Multiple intelligences skills) and how to improve the leading skills according to the related intelligences.
Talent people could acquire a high achievement but non-talent people may become a good leaders as well because it is practiceable talent. Mainly, during primery schools this talent grows by electing the head of class and giving him the role of leader.
It is also important to roll out this practice in workshops to be givin to peers periodically like the program of star of the week. This practice increase the credibility of talent in the trainee.
In my opinion the good leader should keep close to his team members and go through spiritual effect and invade to thier priorities and loyality to the project then he will succeed to achieve the best results.
In general, most leaders are individuals who are born with leadership qualities that outgrow with their experience as they get seasoned with Time. That doesn’t mean that individuals who don’t possess in-born leadership qualities can’t become one. Although it’s extremely hard and seldom seen but I believe that Leadership is a skill which can be honed by following a strict personal development plan, sharp focus, determination and discipline
Not true . Some are born to lead. However some Of The Leadership traits can be cultivated within yourself through learning and practice.
