What skill, recruiters expect from Electrical Engineering Freshers?

Actually it depends upon the recruiter what kind do f job he wanted to offer to the fresh Electrical Engineer.

In my opinion, following Skills are required for Fresher Electrical Engineers:

1. Must have knowledge in Electronics gadget assembly/manufacturing.
2. Computer proficiency in MS Office, internet browsing.
3. Must have knowledge in AutoCAD.
4. Must have basic Analytical ability.
5. Ability to plan and executing project work.
6. Enforcing HES (Home Energy Solutions) Program
7. Skill on Initial Budget preparation.
8. Quick Learning skills.
9. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
10. Good inter-personal skills.
11. MBA is preferable as additional qualification.

We did few recruitment drives for engineering candidates which consist of mechanical, electrical and electronics students. Apart from sound technical skills from engineers, what I had observed that senior manger want them to able to move in shift duties within few months as they could learn the problems in shift based duties. They also prefer those who did internship in related department which made their mind before launching their career. Electrical engineers must remain in touch with concept of mechanical and electronics as a plant is mainly composed them too. Well, the more candidates are flexible and willing to learn the job is their plus point for getting the job.
