We use number format in excel for different calculations but specially to fix the decimals of answers after the calculations in short.
Changing the alignment of data can make it easier to find and read important information in a worksheet.
By default, in Excel, numbers and formulas are right aligned in a cell while text data - such as headings and labels are left aligned.
The easiest way to change the alignment of data is to use the alignment icons on the Home tab of the ribbon.
Steps : formet > cells > Formet cells > NUMBER and select Category
you can set here > Text alignments, Text controll (like text wrap) and right center right alignments.
OR
Simply press Ctrl+1 for Format cells> NUMBER and follow instructions
On home menu bar, go to standard tool bar which is number there is a dropdown list click the arrow to show the drop down list and have a an option of number formats to be select.
Right button>>Format Cells>>Number
