because, i have applied for many job. still i didn't found any response from the companies. i am tired.
Because first they prefer to hire resource from the local market.
Well, I have a practical example of this matter. I am also a job searcher but I am searching while being present in UAE.
I am applying on daily basis to all the jobs I am finding online depending upon my past experience. The response so far is lower than average.
Other day, I had received a call from a recruiter company, I wont present the name here. They offered me their services like, making my professional CV, coching me for interview and making better cover letter for me and at the end, they will give me authority to reach more than10000 jobs available in the market. my question was simple, DO YOU REALLY HAVE10000 JOBS AVAILABLE WITH YOU and the answer of the lady was " YES " following the line which was i dont know very disheartening " IF YOU SUBSCRIBE WITH US, YOU CAN REACH10000 JOBS DIRECTLY THAT WE ARE NOT SHOWING ON OUR WEBSITE AND JUST INFORMING TO THOSE WHO ARE OUR PREVILIGED SUBSRCIBERS. " ok !!!!! so how to get subscribed, " WELL, YOU HAVE TO PAY300 AED AND WE GIVE YOU AUTHORITY TO APPLY600 JOBS IN6 MONTHS TIME DIRECTLY TO THE COMPANIES, MEANS WE DONT INTERFER ( IN OTHER MEANINGS THEY WONT STOP OUR CVs DUE TO ANY OF THE REASONS ) "
so this is happening when you are going through recruiters. In other meanings, if you want to see the treasure of real jobs, you have to pay them.
in this way they are earning both sides i guess, getting money from companies to give them personnel and getting from the candidates to allow them to atleast apply for the real job.
Now this all matter is making a new sence in my mind making me thinking that most of the jobs appearing on the webs with hidden company names are FAKE !!!!!!! recruiters are posting just to increase the visits on their pages !!!!! otherwise how is it possible that even with years of experience, you dont even get an interview call not even for a job which is totally commissioned base and no basic salary involved !!!!!! By posting above facts doesnt mean to disheart any one, only motive is to inform the reality about the recruiters to make job searchers more prepared and more organized and not relying on any single mode of search to find a job....

There are some drawbacks while hiring Applicants from Countries outside of Gulf:
1. These candidates may not meet some criteria as required by the Gulf Companies.
2. The Recruitment Process is usually longer considering the time frame taken for visa formalities, traveling formalities, etc.
In my experience there could be the following reasons for not considering the expats;
- Recruiters are working on behalf of the companies and they might be in search of local talents and for initial or mid level they prefer to have local nationals.
- If HR professionals are hiring on behalf of their company then they are asked for the same.
- We need to review our profile too, like GCC are in need of majorly in technical jobs from outside and for support staff they go for their people.
- Are we matching their criteria? Some we, being an applicant didn’t review the corer requirement and keep on applying and this lead to anxiety.
Let’s be sure before sending the profile, craft your resume as per the requirement and hopefully with bit praying you’ll land to right track.
