How can I improve my teaching skills?

·      Improving teaching skills started by knowing where is the gaps or the weakness in your teaching instruction. I advise you to try these methods below:

• ·      Listen to your students’ perspective about your teaching instruction by conducting course evaluation (summative and formative).

• ·      Ask someone expert or has successful teaching style to come and observe your classes and give you some suggestion.

• ·      Prepare your plan of the changes you would like to improve them, write your pros/cons and the solutions.

• ·      Try to read articles and new research, and attend conferences and workshops about effective teaching instruction, Active learning is now the trend so be update for each content present it differently and always think about the students first how you could give them quality rather than just finishing the requirements.

- Try giving lectures to your family at home.

- When you read something, read it load and give it your own tune.

- Be positive and take any notes without getting embarassed.
