Structural Engineering is one of the three main branches of Civil Engineering. So, we can say that Civil Engineering is the professional engineering discipline that includes:
1) Infrastructure ( Road, Rail, Urban and Regional planning)
2) Structures ( Bridges, Prestressed concret, Special foundations)
3) Water Engineering (Dams, Hydro(electricity) stations, Water management and Water&Environmental
STRUCTUAL ENGINEERING concerns about structural issues only. But civil engineering includes all civil works like infrastructure, structural and finishing.....etc.
Structural Engineering is part of the Civil Engineering specialties such as (roads, hydraulic structures, sewer system, bridges...etc). In other words, civil engineering is more general than structural engineering.
