in a simple few words, wired is protected by its natural physical limitations, which make it difficult to hack into the data travels in the wire by Man in The middle method or any way.

to access wired network  you have to get physical access to cable, switch or network connected computer and this physical access is most of time difficult for intruder to hack into your system because they are inside your network Premise but in the case of wireless network you can not determing the signal coverage it may pass your premise and go out to the surrounding area so any body without being in your primise get the wireless signal can be hacked or missuse your network resource

unlike wired networks, where the ends of the network are known. Wifi disseminates information on a radio channel that can be received by any individuate. data encryption is indisponsable in wireless networks because it allows you to have a virtual channel with known ends.

Anonymous users can login into the network easily so we need to take all the security measures for any compromise
