Q: The incident of fire & it’s extinguish is known; my question, what is the easier, is to ignite a fire or to extinct a fire?

A: It is very difficult to ignite a fire rather to extinguish; if it is not the fact then the whole world burned and nobody left behind to extinguish the fire.

Notes: This is a philosophical query and there is a big thought and strategy behind. Do you agree if there is a policeman doing duty and his belongings are stolen? What is the use of “Fire Safety” when we see a fire? What should be the answer to us; other than look it hopelessly and helplessly?

There will be no fire if we do understand the question and answer. There is the answer of our all query and we do success if we can understand and follow the strategy of fire philosophy. It will uphold the dignity for all.

Any personal query here is my Email:

Dear Mohammed Rafiqul Islam,

Of course, it is easier to ignite a fire than extinct/extinguish a fire especially when the fire is occurred in hydrocarbons which can destroy the structures in few seconds if there are not sufficient control measures. There are many reasons which contribute to ignite a fire, as you know, i.e. direct flames, over heating of machines, igniting engines, energy released by chemical over reactions etc. The prevention is better than cure, so arrangements must be available for prevention of fire, i.e. no smoking areas, Permit to work system, safe system of work, good site security to control entrance, CCTV, FIRE EMERGENSY RESPONSE, emergency evacuation drills etc. Arrangements must be made to Fight a fire i.e. SCBA, Fire blankets, Fire extinguishers, Water hydrants, Hose reels, Foam system,  Sprinklers, Fire Alarms, Emergency Exits, Fire doors, Compartments, hideouts.

There is a famous proverb " it takes many time to build a character & takes only a second to destroy it ".

Answer lies in this proverb.

Igniting a fire is like destroying BUT.....

When you are Extinguishing the fire you dont know how much effort will it take ! A Fire Team who is fighting a fire some times have to lose thier people lives, machinery, assets & publis interest.

So igniting is the essential part which is known as the Deadliest Part.

ignition is easier than extinct ...one of factors is inadequate safety culture (employees & public ) while extinguising has a  multiable solutions with  a various effects.
