What is the acceptence time to remove formwork after casted concrete for columns, beams and slab? If you have reference please mention it?

according to ecp2003 for colums after48 hours and for side form work for slab and beams for48 hours but for bottom form work after time equal  teo times maximum span + two days

My friend, your question is little open ended,  not knowing the type of cement you are using (SRPC or just standard Portland cement),

I will comment as follow; assuming a standard PC is being used  strike vertical formwork (columns and walls structures) after12 to18 hours, where as props to beams strike formwork after14 to21 days, good-luck

It depends on the mixture of the concrete and climate, but normaly5-7 days, leevae some supports to keep out creep.

if slab lengthm (x2)+3 no its not right answer max concrete strength will get in days then only v remove

normally it will take7 days as per IS.

Columns and shear walls means vertical elements form work we cane remove after24 hours but slab form work depend on span same like this(L*2+3) L=Maximum length of span

9*2+3=21

actually, there is a  different to remove formwork after casting between column and slab or beam in terms or time.

in terms of column , comperssive trength of concrete is not important to remove formwork, it means we can remove it after fainal setting time which is arround10 houres.

on other hand , to remove formwork for slab and beam, compressive strength is important .

for example, if we can get compressive strength requird after one week, it is ok.

the curing period is12 to15 days but u can do shuttering and reiforcement works above a column casted on the previous day by giving enoug support and dont forget to give enoug water to the column casted.for beams and slabs dont remome before10 days without giving proper support
