Focus on job you have expertise and like it, do not apply for jobs which does not suite you expertise and against your intrest. Even if some one hire, you cannot stay longer and you will resign soon.
We don't. When searching for a job we look for companies with similar job description or fields where we can have a common background. However if we decide to try in a new field where we have no experience getting the job will depend on relativiti, interpersonal skills and the level of expertice the company needs.
By looking for the right candidate that would add real value in his field.
It can be attained by traning in core areas and sometimes also acheived through OJT - On Job training if in case company wants to hire the person for other qualities and has full confidence he./she would be fast learner and will surely get going so in course of time experience is ACQUIRED. As we all have started at some point as freshers and now we have gained experience.
First get the knowledge of field you are intersted in then you will get the working experience gradually as well.
Frankly Speaking Experience comes from Bad judgements. Every company needs Experience Resources in all forms.I think it is more than Enough if a person has a relevant Education or qualification in that field and they should give oppurtunity to freshers Atleast at Entry or Tarinee level. I dont know why people so easily forget their past because once upon a time they were also Freshers but someone gave them oppurtunity to start career.sometimes even I found Freshers jobless for4-5 years just waiting for start.Thatz not a Good news atleast for Human society.
Good experience is not so difficult to find. But good work should be paid and given value. It’s not ‘Use and throw’ material.
What happens these days is, if a Company requires an experienced person in a specific field, they will hire a person after lot of filtering interviews and pay him as per expectations after negotiations. But after one year, at time of review, Process management people and HR thinks he is highly paid than others. They ignore the fact that he is an expert in the field and his contributions. “Cost cutting” becomes the main factor. Getting the maximum with minimum pay becomes a priority. What really happens is, the Company loses a good talent in the course of action of HR and Process improvement implementations and the employee is forced to find a better or different job.
But I feel, in sales and marketing, and where individual performance can be visibly highlighted to every levels of an organization, these problems are absent.
We loose chances of getting jobs because we dont have experience yet we have qualifications and the potential and maybe we could do it much better than the experienced ones. but anyway no one is interested to know the reason for your application and therefore we end up loosing the chance. As applicants, there is nothing we can do.
Prepare an effective job description and personal specifications. Start by looking inside the company for a candidate. Announce the opportunity in the cyberspace. Shortlist the candidates. Start Interviewing them and select the best one you can afford.
by education - or work in non profit organisation for a while - look in any oranisation even local - sure there is companies look for fresh graduates
Try to join any reputed organisation as a trainee. Set a Goal and then hit the interview. I specially mention here "Big banner" because you will not only sharp your skills but also it will broaden your mind and make you confident.
