Depends if you are working alone in all networking fields or have a specific part in networking like just networking ..
or just system administration ..if you are alone ..
you must be a joker !!   else ..
you need to be MCITP / RHCE minimum if working in systems administration and need to be CCNA required / CCNP is a plus depends in your company size and technologies used there.

Actually ,if you are working in huge company ,then you will be responsible for providing connectivity between network devices such as Switch ,Firewall,Routers ..etc and also providing security services such as VPN and ..etc but if you are working small company this mean that you will be the IT guy this mean that you will be responsible for :1-PBX and voice traffic
2- Switches , Routers , Firewalls ,VPN ,QoS , Wireless ...etc
3- Providing Security
4- Implementing systems and taking backups
4- monitoring these systems and following up employees requests and needs .
