As I have been reading the job description of many positions in my field I have realized the following:
1.most job descriptions are mostly copied from other jobs in different postings.
2.most hr managers are not consulting the proper department within the company to get an accurate description of what they are really looking for. Thus hr managers are forced to copy job prerequisites from other companies requirements.
3.lack of communications inside the company forces hr managers to really post general requirements which most of the time doesn't satisfy the requirements of the concerned department.
So if you go by the job description you might be missing some great opportunities .
My advise is you should apply even if the posted listing doesn't fully match what you are really looking for.
Chances are you will find out the true requirements through the initial interview.
If you don't want to miss great chances apply generally and shortlist after the first interview after all you are interviewing them also.

I do generally agree with Mr. Amer Jayyousi on not letting a chance pass you by, but I would also agree on the main concept of not applying to a job out of desperation, which later might lead to a much desperate situation as in applying to a Junior position while you are much more qualified or to a different field of business that you don’t really enjoy working at.
Conceptually, I agree. If you don't like the description, then it is most probably nt in your carrer.
The confusion arises when generic words (like management, planning, business development) are used. Such words may attrack people from different careers (especially IT & ERP) to try it.
i agree desperation leads no-where,but the fact is your looking for job,the best way is to organize yourself,do some research,stay cool,clam and collective.
