How beneficial and important is Twitter as a lead generation platform compared to Facebook?

In my experience, social media is not a one size fits all, when it comes to marketing and lead generation. For one business/ company, Twitter may prove more results and to another Facebook may show better ROI.

Overall, both platforms deliver results but the only way to find out your won winner is only when you use both (TEST) and measure the reults - at least that's what I and other web marketing managers do.
