How does particulate matter adversely affect human health and the environment?

Particulate matter creates noise in human health and environment which polutes the environment and its final expression is human illness.

Particulate matter in air will affect repiratory system. Can cause damage to mucous membrane of the repiratory system. Also can affect lung (as a chronic problem). High percentage of particulate matter in environment affect general public health.

It affects lungs of humans and reduce life expectancy.

Particulate matter is known to affect the lungs of kid and adult and reduce life expectancy.

There are short term and long term affects on the body and environment. It can be a short sickness needing medical attention to cronic diseases. Exposure can badly damage the envirnment that can have irriparable damge in long term. 

 In Europe, long-term exposure to current ambient particulate matterconcentrations may affect the lungs of both children and adults and may reduce life expectancy by a few months, mainly in subjects with pre-existing heart and lung diseases.
