Who is a good teacher?

 

Who is dedicated, honest and hard worker, and prepare the topic with honesty and full confidence over the subject and deliver his thought with very sincerity towards building the nation, because “The child is father of Nation”

attitude love of his job ,knowlege, skills   firstly  how to motivate always  students, how to  give easily information to students by repetition, how to train and how to evaluate . a good teacher schould guide students but not dominate   students

A good teacher is one who will love and care for each and everyone of her students, showing affection and making sure her students are comfortable in class. A good teacher knows how to manage her class without yelling at her students and making them fearful of her.  A good teacher is capable of making her students get along with one another and wont tolerate bullying in class.  School is like a second home.  

Anyone who can impart "learning" is the basic requirement of a good teacher. All the other attributes are "niceties" ie sense of humour, popular etc etc but the fundamental asset a good teacher has, is the abiltity to teach.

A Teacher in the true sense can be equated to the word GURU , The word student is akin to the word disciple or “ Shishya ” in the ancient langauage Sanskrit.

Guru as “dispeller of darkness” (from gu, “darkness” and ru, “that which dispels”).

He who faithfully follows a true guru becomes like him, for the guru helps to elevate the disciple to his own level of realization.”  This relationship, based on the genuineness of the GURU, and the respect, commitment, devotion and obedience of the student, is the best way for subtle or advanced knowledge to be conveyed. The student eventually masters the knowledge that the GURU embodies.

The guru-disciple relationship is the highest expression of friendship, for it is based on unconditional love and wisdom. It is the loftiest and most sacred of all relationships.

 A true teacher is rich without money. His wealth is to be reckoned not in terms of bank balance, but in the bounteous love and loyalty he has evoked in pupils. He is an emperor whose empire is carved in the grateful minds of his pupils, which no power on earth can shake, no atom bomb can destroy. A teacher must play the role of lamps that shatter darkness, become the lighthouse that guides the wandering ships to their right destination. Apart from this a teacher should be a constant motivator for his students. Motivation is not a force that can be supplied from outside. It has to be generated from within and it is a teacher, who is a true leader can inspire his students to grow overcoming every inability and obstacle. A teacher does not have to tell his students to improve, his charisma and actions bring transformation in students silently. Teachers should be a role model for their students. Respecting the interests of students assumes much importance. The teacher should help students understand their interests and strengths.

An ideal teacher builds an everlasting impression on the minds of his students and are always remembered and loved. He displays extreme simplicity in spite of his extra ordinary academic attainments, dedicates his whole life to the cause of education. He never allows his students to be idle or indisciplined. The vastness of his knowledge deeply impresses every student and is never proud of it. For a perfect teacher, all students are alike. He is never partial to any students and is always fair. He does not favor any student, treats each student equally.

 

The importance of teachers influence on a student should never be under estimated. The values learned at home are developed further at school under a teacher’s guidance. Our society needs teachers who understand the sanctity of the GURU- SHISHYA relationship and are able to inculcate the love of knowledge in their students. To conclude it is said that the teachers should imbibe in themselves the qualities of perseverance, integrity and dedication towards their noble profession realizing the fact that teaching is like planting tree; one should wait for a long time for the trees to finally mature.

Complete dedication makes you a good teacher.

Qualified ,honest,enthusiastic,has a sense of humor but within respecting himself or herself,dedicated and ready to improve his students and lead them to be better.

The best teacher is who listens and understand a student..and an expert on his or her field

but sometimes expertise doesn't matter because once you have a good heart you are a good teacher.

A good teacher is a good leader who transform the knowledge and skills in the students to become the useful part of the society, to intellectually stimulate the students to solve the problems in new ways, to consider the individual differences among students, to inspire the students from personal example, A teacher must have functional, management, intepesonal communication skills . most important verstylity skills where teacher shifts himself/herself from one role to other.

Knowledge does not make a man teacher. So a good teacher is that who is interested in his work. It does not matter how much is he educated ? The main thing that matters is that with how much effort and hardwork he prepares his lecture and delivers in the class.

A good teacher should be able to teach well and give various examples to the students to make sure they understand. I also believe that he/she should concentrate on the students' facial expressions and body language and understand them well to be able to differentiate between a student who understands and one that lost his way in the middle of the lesson so as to help him get back on track with the rest of the class. Of course, that requires patience. Also he/she should listen to the class not just hear what they're saying. That's because sometimes you may teach true beginners who may not be able to explain their needs clearly due to the lack of language or even you may be teaching kids. You should be part of the class and that's by being able to understand each one in it. A good teacher shouldn't need a manual to know what to do or how to deal with the class.
