I agree with Mr. Mohammed Salim Allana - Senior Management in Gulf Countries must be locally hired to deal with any local display of Power Struggles. 

 

I also believe that Company Policies must be very clear and transparent so as to discourage anyone from using Personal or Professional Clout.

Pursue the management to appoint an Emarati or Qatari national as Head of Human resources; he knows better how to deal with their compatriots.

You should have a copmplete control over your job, so any local has no right to use his powers if you are fair and clear in your doings.

If he was trying to show his strength in his place of work in his country, i will go back to his director to solve this problem. In the case of no reply to my evocation, I will go to the Embassy of my country there  and I will inform them what's up? to solve the problem by the law regulations that will solve the problem accordingly.
