Have you ever utilized a class newsletter? What did you include in the letter?

Newsletters are great tools for informing parents about what has been happening and what is coming up in class. It is also great to put in a student's scrapbook of memories that they will look over again as adults, probably when they are parents and sharing their memories with their children.

Photos from class activities, field trips, and class calendar, as well as special acknowledgements for volunteers and for student accomplishments. Teachers should always make a point to get a glimpse of all students in the newsletter if possible. That makes it special for everyone.
