Do you think its unfair that less qualified candidates pay to get their profiles on top while applying on bayt?

Its a fact that each online job advertisement may attract hundreds or even thousands of applicants. And if you have some credits on bayt.com you can easily get your profile on top even if you don't have necessary skills to be considered for the job. In my humble opinion, this is not a good practice as the employer often reviews a handful of applications and in this way the deserving candidate who might not have the desired skill set gets selected.

It might be unfair but I guess employers won't settle for under qualified candidates. If the resume looks perfect there is still an interview where they have the chance to know more about the candidate. I used to use Bayt which recruting I actually spent days searching for employees and I didn't just stop after looking in the fisrt couple of pages.

Good luck to us all and may all the good candidates find the job that suit them the best :)

Though through credit score one profile could go up and get noticed by potential employer but if they still lack in qualification or experience then?? Do employers turn them on? NO. Be assured that if one meets the criteria then automatically the chances are bright for getting positive response from recruiter and yes in such cases if one has enough credit then it is plus point for that profile.

We do understand the point that bayt or any other job websites are working in commercial basis and they have to have mange their profitability or penetration and competition with their competitors.

I always say and firm believer of Merit and Talent and no one could stop talent, one can stop the talent for sometime but ultimately it shines…

No it is not unfair beecause it depends upon the employer whether he look into all CVs or just a few. But thats a way how BAYT earn from employers as well as prospective employees.

We should be paying to get a job?? All the experts put there CV on this site so Bayt can get his recruiters fee? And I have worked for a short time as recruiter, I think it pays well. ANd to get spotted by the recruiters, because they have a ton of cv's we have to pay.

Please do your job as most of the people do on your site, Fare and with passion!

I don't think this is a matter of fairness. This is a matter of how a company (Bayt) creates profits

Even if that were true, recruiters will continue to go through all of the CV's. Just because someone paid to have their CV promoted to the top doesn't necessarily mean they will be chosen.

Nauman - this is a good poinit you raise but let me tell you - real life situation is no different.

If you are in the right place at the right time - you may get picked even if you may not necessarity be the perfect fit.

If an employer is reviewing a handful and selecting from the handful - that is their prerogative and if they end up hiring someone who is not qualified - they have to bear the consequences.

So once again - to answer your question - it's a reflection of real life situation.

Imagine you are standing in a queue for a job interview and are50th in line and they stop accepting people after #30....well...what can you do?

The same applies here.

It  seems fair for  someone who spend money but  the rest are up to the employer...
