To be successful leader, the person should be an example to others. He should have the enthusiasm to learn, even if it’s from a subordinate. Be there with the team and motivate them. Understand each team member’s potentials and improvement areas. Try making them come up. Its simply like, give respect and take respect.

I think Adaptability is very important in any position that requires decision making, we all know that things don't go as we planed all the time and a dynamic leader should be able to adapt to any and all situations and changes instantly so that he or she can lead properly.
