I would suggest that being an eloquent speaker is not the number1 priority, the ability to "communicate" (as said by Kennedy) effectively and deal with a customer's requests/complaints/questions to their satisfaction is the overriding factor! "Eloquence" of speech is probably something we would all aspire to but not everyone, as we know, can attain!
