Job satisfaction among employees is an indicator oforganisational effectiveness, and is influenced by  organisational and dispositional factors.

Job satisfaction is a reaction to a job, which stems from the incumbent's comparison of actual outcomes with the required outcomes.

employees will experience job satisfaction if they feel that their individual capacities, experience and values can be utilised in their work environment and that, in exchange,the work environment offers them opportunities and rewards.

It is both. Being an Employee should give thought on his previous actions taken during the period.Analyse where he or she had gone out if the track with the Management policies and Expectation.

At the same time Employer has to analise the Employee where they can improve the Employee and bring him or she back to the policies ambit and advise the Employee to consider it . As this will benifit to organisation as well as Employee.
