actually it depents up on the battery AH ratting and load on the ups. just mesure the battery current in load condition .

back up time=(battery AH*0.85)/current in load condition

My experience is only if we have a ups500VA with12v5a battery and tipicall computer with15 to18 Inch LED it proveds10 to15 minuts backup.
