In using Ms Excel and Ms Access
Depends on the target. With Excel you can create charts very easily and fast, without much knowlage. Access is more complicated and made for complex data structures, which is better if you want a long term solution on a big amount of data.
Excel chart is more far better than Access chart. Excel allows custom formulas that is needed in transforming the data into chart.
Excel based on the data you are working.
For me excel is more useful in creating charts, it is also easier and cear
Excel is the most suitable software for creating charts. It is the simplest and the easiest to use. It is amazing and suitable for all types of charts and for all purposes. You are free to use a great selection of facilities from comparision, filtering, calculation, and advanced charts. It is a great experience.
For those beginner, excel is far better. Simple and easy to understand.
Excel is bright, beautiful and has many options, however it cannot handle a huge database, for High level reporting I use excel as I can do illustrate more with it, for reports require huge data manipulation I use access.
Depending on the ammount of data you are dealing with beside that excel is limited to the ammount of data it can accept an excel work book will be very heavy when dealing with large amount of data.
on the otherside databases can easely handel milions of data records and some time bilions but it need more knoldge anbd effor to get a nice looking output from it.
botom line if your data is small and you creat diferant kinds of reports evertime then use Excel. but if you are dealing with a large amount of data and usualy have fixed type of reports then you better move to database Access is a good choice for simple applications with medium size of data. if you are going to deal with huge amount of data milions then ypu better use something stronger like SQL , MySQL or Oracle data base as your database. in this case you may consider using MS Access for simple application and MS SQL as your database.
