Dear Betty,
Bill Gates, Michael Dell, and Steve Jobs are successful entrepreneurs; they’re also college dropouts. So why a lot of people —who earned bachelor’s degree —having such difficulty finding a job?
First, let's examine why employers prefer college degrees. Most often, they associate the following characteristics with people who have degrees (and more specifically, four-year degrees):
A proven ability to analyze problems, conduct research and produce solutions
A proven ability to learn complex, difficult subject matter
Proof they are motivated and have drive
Proof of intelligence
Better interpersonal skills
More credible qualifications

Experience with the right attitude over a degree anytime!
The main thing is creativity and innvoation that one has, the hard working and integrity is more preffered. education shows a road map for doing best and it depends on the employee/person ability on how much them can use to achieve the goal successfuly.
I would say experience is much greater of an advantage . A degree only gets you so far. If you can gain the experience and build yourself up in a company - climb the corporate ladder .... You will understand and appreciate every single department and position within a company much better. This is a huge advantage. The Degree/Diploma can be part of your stepping process. Study what is related to the field/position you desire to obtain.
Advantage of the above is earning an income while studying .....
Your degree could get you the job. But to retain the job you would need experiance. In an entry level job you do not require much experiance. You gain experiance as you move up the ladder. If you can get some part time degrees in the related field where you work it could be an added advantage. You increase your brand value inside and outside the co.
