You can set in Outlook any email address that you want and I do not think it depends of which version you are using of Outlook.
Regarding of my Outlook version, sincerly I am not so advanced with this such of informations and not so interested of which version I am using at home, because all I need is to receive and send emails.
You can use POP3 to download mail, or at least I can (it appears to depend on which country's Yahoo you use). To get POP3 on mine, I signed up for Yahoo Delivers and disabled all the interests so I never received any mail. If you find you can't get POP3 to work (see Yahoo's help) you may need to use YPOPS.
Next question, does your version of Outlook have POP3? If not, you have to use Outlook Express (Windows Live Mail is the new name for it) then import it in Outlook.
As POP3 can only see the Inbox and no other folders, you'll have to select a folder in Yahoo and move everything inside it to the Inbox. Now in Outlook/OE/WLM you download new mail, make a new folder and move it into there. Now go back to Yahoo and delete everything in the Inbox, and move onto the next folder.
Finally if you were using OE/WLM you can use Outlook to import everything.
