Once when conected with publisher viling to put your pages public you will get all other information. If you want to make a good profit of it, you need to make great marketing and PR campaign. Or, you can just publish your work on some internet sites to share your knowledge or thoughts. And do not forget social media!
You will need to give us a little more information, is this a self published book or a book you wish to sell to a publisher?
Have you started to write this book or are you just testing the waters and seeing what the process will entail?
Is this a scientific, fiction, non-fiction or tutorial book? Define it so you are more focused.
Do you wish to make money off the book or is this just something to add to your portfolio?
You can try self-publishing it through venues like Amazon.com's KINDLE or CreateSpace (createspace.com). Both are free. Kindle is for publishing in e-book format and createspace is for publishing paperback books. Both are owned by the highly reputable firm amazon.com so you know you can rely on them. Furthermore, if you publish through createspace.com, you can have your book available on Kindle as well without doing much else.
Just make sure your book is ready for publication. Once published, you'll be responsble for marketing and advertising your book.
Just to write a book is not an issue. Actual trial of the writer starts after this point because he definitely have spent a lot of time and put a lot of effort to transform his idea in to a reality. Unfortunately, there are not much options for new entrants. In most of the cases the writer has to spend money as well to see his dream coming true.
I believe that every author has the write to get some reward for his work and there is no better award than money which provides him a support to keep concentrate on his work.
