My mood is massively affected by the weather. I love then there is no sun and its cloudy.
My record has shown that I get maximum inspiration when I am around nature, i.e. garden, trees and its cloudy. Currently, I do all my brainstorming for freelance journalism after8 as I walk in my garden.

The answer is my study room where It's total calm and silence. It is best place to write a book or an article because it provides me the required environment to concentrate.
I will write at any time, any where it is more what sort of a mood I'm in. Although I did write a lot when I use to fly for a living, it broke up the monotony of some of my longer flights.
