Does Flash still have hope to remain as a viable technology?

Yes ofcourse, You cannot totally remove flash, As for as the iOS and smart phones are concerned, Adobe need to make flash more suitable to eat less resources, But if we talk about the web,95% of the websites contains something in it which have been done in flash.
So its animations, crispy output, smooth tweens etc are still very attractive and demanding...

I think it still a live as an animation platform it is very strong especially after the new name (animate). also in terms of coding it compatible with the new techonolgies like html5 canvas where you can build your own animation then to add the javascript code in the same environment then to publish as html5 pages.

Yes, it is important that we enhance more and from this we could still develop more techniques to improve our technology

i think flash can never be ended infect without flash internet world be very boring .....
as we can see all applications , games , components even shopping cart are flash based now a days.
so flash is making its place again with more interesting features.
However flash is not as before for web development .
